And if this season paints nature in an original and unrepeatable way, why shouldn’t music also bring numerous colours and nuances to the listener’s soul? To develop his creativity, continually giving birth to new images, seen through the eyes of the soul. Music and autumn certainly make an unmistakable pair, in the richness each brings. Specifically, the season and the art of sounds come together in a concert, which will take place on Friday, October 13, at 19.00 in the “Enescu – Bartók” concert hall. It is no coincidence that the event is called “Festifall”, thus combining two significant words: Festival and “fall”. In English, “fall” is synonymous with “autumn” or “fall – the falling of the leaves in this case”, and further, music lovers can imagine an autumn festival, an autumn celebration, a concert of colours, each interpreting the title of the symphony concert in their own way. The colours of music were chosen decades and hundreds of years ago by composers Carl Maria von Weber with his opening work: the Overture to ‘Oberon’, George Gershwin firmly chose the colour blue with ‘Rhapsody in Blue’, and Ludwig van Beethoven always conceived his work in a rainbow of sounds, this time with ‘Symphony No. 5, Op. 67’.
