Between the most representative performances as a flute and piccolo soloist he has performed at Rockefeller Center of New York, Hong Kong City Hall, Parco della Musica – Santa Cecilia Main Hall of Rome (to the presence of the President Carlo Azeglio Ciampi), Breda Golden Festival (Holland, to the presence of Her Majesty the Queen Beatrix), Sultan Qaboos Palace of Muscat (private residence, to the presence of His Majesty the Sultan Qaboos bin Said for whom he worked for four years as a Flute mentor at Royal Oman Symphony Orchestra and Muscat Royal Philharmonic Orchestra), Steinway and Sons – `Rubinsteinsaal´ in Munich and Carl Maria von Weber Memorial House of Dresden. \nSince 2005, he has regular collaborations with international Universities, Hochschule für Musik und Kunst and Conservatories of Music for annual Comparative Arts, Psychology of Music or Chamber Music courses such as Flute and Piccolo masterclasses. Between them: The New York University, the Southern Mississippi University, ´La Sapienza´ University of Rome, the University of South Africa (UNISA), the Daniel Barenboim – Edward Said Fondation (Ramallah, West Bank), the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences of Mönchengladbach (Germany) and others. He has been a member of the Cinecittà Movie Studios Orchestra of Rome and worked under the direction of Ennio Morricone and Riz Ortolani such as for several RAI Italian National Broadcasting productions. Fernando Fracassi composes and plays music of different genres (especially Classical, Soundtracks and World Music) on all ancient and Böhm flute families near to several ethnic flutes using live and in studio many of them chosen from sixty specimens belonging to his private collection and mostly used in combination with electronics. As a playwright, he writes stories with Music. His last theatrical show `Leonardo and Music´ , commissioned by the Italian Consulate in Jerusalem and dedicated to the five hundred years since the death of the Florentine genius, was included among the official celebrations of the Italian Republic in 2019 and performed at `Al Hakawati Theater´ the oldest theater of Jerusalem in the same year.
